Habitat for Humanity Hamilton is making a difference - one house, one family and one volunteer at a time! Volunteer as an individual, or apply as a group or commit at the corporate level. Whether you lend your time and talents, rally your class, church, workplace or special interest group or demonstrate community leadership through an Adopt-A-Day your support makes it possible for us to build simple, affordable homes for Hamilton area families in need.
The benifits of volunteering are very personal. We recognize that the reasons a person gives of their time vary. It makes a difference to the community, provides for self satifaction knowing that your skills and experiences are valuable, and can be a building block for your future career choices.
Habitat for Humanity Hamilton will provide a letter of reference only to those volunteers who contribute over 40 hours within the calandar year. This allows you to demonstrate your commitment, and for us to be able to honestly acknowledge your contribution.
We have opportunities for volunteers to work on our BUILD projects, assisting in the RESTORE operation, serving on planning COMMITTEES and TEAMS, assisting in FUNDRAISING/COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT events and GENERAL ADMINISTRATION AND SUPPORT.
