As part of National Volunteer week this small expression of appreciation celebrated the over 24,000 hours that an army over 700 strong contibuted. The efforts of the volunteers enable Habitat Hamilton to provide safe decent affordable housing to the community. The work of the volunteers go beyound the build site and the ReStore operations. Crews undertake the removal and restoration of used kitchens, assist in community outreach programs and undertake various administrative duties.
Volunteer coordinator Paul de Courcy said, " It's amazing that our volunteers are so generous with their time and skills. The difference that they make is remarkable."
